Narrowed question: How do educational websites and apps correlate with the learning quality/capability of students in the classroom?
The main audience that I am trying to reach out to are educators that are interested in adding technology to their curriculum and parents that are concerned with whether technology helps or worsens their child's learning capability in the classroom. I believe that this will educate my audience about the myths and truths of technology when used in an educational setting. The way I would present my final product would be in a website/flyer format. I will advertise some websites and apps that are useful and helpful in the classroom, while also giving some facts about the use of technology.
I did not receive any other resources or suggestions from my peer feedback. I was hoping to get some feedback that would narrow down my research question so I could get more specific results, but I managed to find something that I could work with. The only concerns I have is finding the right research evidence that would support my question. My hypothesis supports that technology is useful in the classroom, but if I only find evidence that says it is harmful then I would have to change how I present the information. The way I would try to fix this is finding evidence that supports my statement and finding studies that say technology helps students learn more efficiently. I believe that there will be sufficient evidence that does support this idea, I just have to make sure I find the correct sources.
The next step for me is to find the research evidence that can support my hypothesis. Once I find this evidence I will read and analyze it and make sure it correlates with my project. I will also start thinking of ideas for my website that will showcase my findings, which will cater to educators and parents.
